Award for Best Project for Existing Buildings, the winner was Miguel Ángel Vaquero, from the entity Auditorio de Tenerife S.A.U.
For granting this award, the jury considered that his project meets the needs that any theater or auditorium has for proper technological
and audiovisual equipment to enable world-class events. The "Adán Martín" Auditorium in Tenerife, designed by architect Santiago
Calatrava, was inaugurated in 2003 and since then has hosted a wide range of events, concerts, music festivals, dance performances, and opera.
